Baby Led Weaning Workshop: Introducing First Foods to Your Baby

Learn how to introduce solids to your baby in a way that allows them to be a part of family meals and intuitively choose what and how much to eat. Baby Led Weaning skips pureed "baby foods" and goes straight to finger foods with the understanding that babies can feed themselves right from the start.  No need to buy expensive, jarred baby food or spend extra time preparing separate food for your baby. Baby led weaning stream lines meal time! This popular workshop provides evidence-based information on safety and nutrition, and participants will walk away with all the tools they need to confidently introduce finger foods to their babies including recipes.

Recommended participants are parents/caregivers who have not yet started incorporating solids for their babies or parents-to-be/caregivers-in-training. Moms, dads, and caregivers who have already introduced solids to their babies but want to learn more about Baby Led Weaning, or those who have already started Baby Led Weaning and want to learn more about it from a nutrition professional will also benefit from this workshop.

Note: The term "weaning" really means "feeding" and has nothing to do with weaning as you may think of it. It is actually a perfect compliment to breastfeeding and works great with formula-fed babies as well.

Registration is required. Tickets can be purchased here.
